DC Dragons- Coaches

DC Dragons is looking for volunteer coaches to form teams for 4th and 5th graders at John F. Kennedy Elementary School. You will need a little (just a little) knowledge of basketball fundamentals like dribbling, passing, defense, and layups & shooting. We also want to encourage you not to run plays but to teach the players just how to play.

DC Dragons Basketball is looking for coaches who want to make a positive impact on their players and will bring fun to the game so that the players will continue improving throughout the season. We are looking for coaches who will emphasis player development and improvement and not focus so much on the game's final score.

All DC Dragons coaches must complete the following:

Complete the Daly City Library and Recreation Coach's Application
Follow the Coach's Code of Conduct
Pass the City of Daly City's Mandatory Background Check
Complete the Live Scan Fingerprinting process
Attend the Mandatory Coach's Meeting before the season begins
Attend all DC Dragons practices and games
